When parents are involved, students flourish. Research consistently shows that children whose families are engaged in their education tend to have stronger academic outcomes, better behavior, and a deeper sense of belonging at school. More simply put: your presence matters—to your child, their teachers, and our entire school community.

Our Parent Engagement Program (PEP) is about showing up in ways that support and encourage. Each family is invited to participate throughout the year in ways that fit their gifts and schedules. Whether big or small, every act of involvement helps build a culture where students feel supported and teachers feel strengthened.

Participation might include:

• Helping plan or support Family Night Out events

• Donating or sponsoring treats for an event

• Assisting teachers with grading

• Chaperoning field trips

• Attending events like Spring Fling, Confirmation Examination, and Awards Night.

• Supporting outreach efforts like staffing a booth at a community event

• Joining us for worship when your child sings or participates

• Or simply showing up—again and again—in encouragement and presence

To help support this shared commitment, we encourage families to make a personal goal of 10 - 20 participation hours per academic year. These moments aren’t just tasks to complete—they’re opportunities to invest in your child’s experience and be part of something bigger.
